Apple iPod for Windows

Hmmm. Lovely.

Apple has announced the long-rumoured iPod for Windows, along with a new 20 GB version, to be available at the end of August. Hmmm. Lovely. Only problem is that I don't have a PC with a hard disk big enough to hold all that music in order to get it onto the iPod.

It looks like I can get an 80 GB Firewire hard drive for about £200, or 120 GB for £300. Add in a Firewire PC Card for £100, and I'd have a system capable of holding all my music and editing digital video, which is something else I've been wanting to try for a while. I wonder whether anyone is bundling some of these for a better price...
